Nikon D1X for sale or trade - $200 in Kamloops, British Columbia for sale

Nikon D1x in very good condition. Very few rub marks and no scratches. Missing is the rubber grip on the CF door. (see picture #6) But the rubber is easily replaced if one is willing to do some searching on eBay. The other rubber parts-front-sides- and base plate- are good and firm.

Most of these cameras have been heavily used with lots of dings-rub marks- peeled off rubber and generally look pretty grim. This one-in comparison with many other offerings-is in great shape mechanically and cosmetically.
The rear LCD has one surface rub mark on the anti-reflection coating which does not go into the glass and does not affect viewing.

Nikon D1x was a big deal in it's day and still produces remarkably good images. There are lots of positive online postings comparing the D1x to much newer Nikon cameras.

The camera was built to professional standards. It's tough-fast- and is weather sealed. Nikon never boasted about it-the weather sealing- as did Canon-and D1x AF is really-really fast. Surprised me the first time I used one...the auto focus actually seems faster than a D2h. (though not the mirror black out)

Nikon D1x uses and meters with most MF and AF Nikkors that Nikon ever made.

Included in the package is a Nikon D1x user manual-charger-and two batteries-one of which is brand new ($35 value) and the other (Nikon) holds a feeble charge.
